Working to commission is an area that Danny enjoys immensely. "The opportunity to work alongside a client at every stage of the design process, from concept to the finished piece is very exciting", says Danny. "Some people have a very definite idea about what they want, whereas others prefer to be guided by previous designs or styles".

Commissioning a piece of furniture could not be easier. Danny welcomes the opportunity to discuss furniture requirements without obligation and all prices are by negotiation. Many drawings are sketched prior to the piece being made to ensure that the finished article is everything the client imagined. Clients are encouraged to visit Danny's workshop regularly as work progresses. " I like to make the customer feel involved in the making of the piece, so it becomes truly their piece of furniture" he says.
